About Pinnacle

Students attend Pinnacle Online High School for a variety of reasons, but most enroll to recover lost credits, accelerate the pace of their education or obtain an online high school diploma. Students can attend Pinnacle full-time, part-time, or take classes while still attending classes at another brick-and-mortar high school.

Credit recovery - If you've done poorly in a class at your traditional high school, or even failed, Pinnacle can help you erase that poor grade and even recover that lost credit. Our fully-accredited classes are transferable to most high schools if you are in need of credit recovery.

Accelerated study - If you are eager to complete high school, you can attend Pinnacle Online High School in tandem with your traditional school to speed up graduation. Because you can learn in Pinnacle's online high school environment on any day, weekend or holiday, our classes don't conflict with the demands of your traditional high school or other extracurricular activities.

Degree program - Pinnacle Online High School offers a wide range of classes that allow you to obtain a high school diploma. And because of our NCA and CITA accreditation, your online high school diploma will transfer to the university or college or your choice.

Since Pinnacle was founded more than 13 years ago, more than 35,000 students have found our school a welcome alternative to a traditional high school, providing a high quality learning experience without the constrictions on their schedule or pace of learning.

Pinnacle Online High School is open entry, meaning that you can start classes any day of the year. Since classes are self-paced, you can study and learn any time of the day or night. The flexibility of the schedule allows you to participate in sports or other extra curricular activities, to work, to spend time with family or to actively participate in life.

Although students work at their own pace and dictate their own schedule, they are never on their own. Pinnacle's learning platform encourages students to be involved in peer discussions and group blogs, and allows for individual attention from their instructors. Students can engage their instructor by email at any time, and can speak by phone with an instructor from 7 a.m to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Pinnacle's unique Student Accountability Program closely tracks each students' performance and prompts instructors to engage those students who are not participating or show a signs of having difficulties.
